ISLAMABAD: Famous Islamic scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has escaped from an assassination attempt. According to police sources, the plan to kill Muhammad Ali Mirza was foiled when a security guard deployed at Eng Muhammad Ali Mirza\u2019s research academy caught a man with concealed gun storage book. The accused was trying to enter the academy with the plan to kill the Engineer when the latter was busy teaching inside the academy, the police said. The accused identified as Mudassar Ashraf after hollowing a book had concealed a pistol in it. In the initial investigation, the accused confessed to the murder plan of the scholar.
