{"id":292473,"date":"2022-10-30T08:52:04","date_gmt":"2022-10-30T03:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=292473"},"modified":"2022-10-30T08:52:04","modified_gmt":"2022-10-30T03:52:04","slug":"bye-election-in-na-45-kurram-on-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/bye-election-in-na-45-kurram-on-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Bye-election in NA-45 Kurram on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> PESHAWAR<br \/>\nBye-elections in NA-45 Kurram would be held on October 30 (Sunday) and all arrangements have been finalized.<br \/>\nPolling will be started at 8am to 5pm without any break.<br \/>\nThe spokesman of Election Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday said that there are 198,618 registered voters among which 111,349 are men and 87,269 are women.<br \/>\nHe said that a total of 143 polling stations have been set up among 119 have been declared very sensitive while 24 polling stations are put in category of sensitive.<br \/>\nDistrict Police Officer (DPO) Kurram, Arbab Shafiullah said that preparations have been completed for bye-elections in NA-45 and transportation of election material has been started.<br \/>\nHe said that 2,100 policemen have been deputed on polling duty.<br \/>\nThe DPO urged political leaders and workers to abide by rules and cooperate with police to maintain peace during bye-election.<br \/>\nProvincial Election Commissioner Shamshad Khan has directed Commissioner Kohat division to make foolproof security arrangements for NA-45 Kurram by-poll, so that the voters could cast their votes without fear and risk.<br \/>\nPTI chief among 16 candidates including Jamil Khan of JUIF and Sher Muhammad Khan of JI that would contest election from NA-45 Kurram while independent candidates were also included in the contestants.<br \/>\nPreparations complete for bye-elections in NA-45<br \/>\nDistrict Police Officer (DPO) Kurram, Arbab Shafiullah has said that preparations have been completed for bye-elections in NA-45 and transportation of election material has been started. He said that procurement of election material has been started to 143 polling stations. He said that among 143 polling stations 119 have been declared very sensitive.
