During the hearing the court also asked whether each lawmaker submitted statements of assets annually.<\/p>\n
The PTI counsel replied that each and every lawmaker had to submit their asset statements. He also argued that there was no need to include those assets which had been sold.<\/p>\n
\u201cYour assembly membership gets suspended if you do not submit the statements,\u201d Barrister Zafar told the court.<\/p>\n
After hearing the arguments, the court issued notices to the respondents and adjourned the hearing till Nov 10. The court also accepted miscellaneous applications filed by Imran seeking to incorporate additional documents to the case record.<\/p>\n
Speaking to media after the hearing, Barrister Zafar said the ECP\u2019s decision had been suspended in a way as it could not be implemented.<\/p>\n
