Senator Khokhar has submitted his resignation with Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani. Chairman Senate has accepted his resignation and issued notification thereof. It has been said in the text of the resignation tendered by Senator Khokhar \u201c I am presenting my resignation under the directives of Senator Farooq H Naik. Giving the reason for tendering his resignation he said during meeting with the senior leader of party I came to know party leadership is not happy over my political stance. Party leadership has sought my resignation from Senate membership. I am willing happily to resign from Senate seat. I being a party worker think it my right to express my views on the matters related to public interests. I am grateful to party leadership for giving me Senate seat. I am thankful to party leadership for giving me Senate seat from Sindh.<br \/>\nKeeping aside the differences, my journey with them has remained superb. I express my best wishes for them.<br \/>\nPPP leader said \u201care we members of Indian Lok Sabha that as to why our telephones are tapped persistently. Our movement is watched and why our secrecy is attacked.<br \/>\nHe held that politicians, judges and journalists often fall victim to it. We are as much part of the state as some one else. We are not traitors. Some people are estimating about my political future.
