I will lead the march from Malakand, says Mahmood Khan

\nChief Minister Mahmood Khan has stated people of Malakand region have rendered numerous sacrifices for continuity of peace and democracy, adding that people from Malakand region will participate with full strength in the upcoming true independence march to rid the country from \u2018corrupt politicians\u2019 and ensure establishment of true democracy in which international relations are established on equality basis. The Chief Minister revealed that he will lead the independence march from Malakand region himself and it will be a peaceful march aimed at achieving the true purpose for which Pakistan was established in 1947.
\nHe maintained that Pakistan came into existence under Islamic ideology which would be achieved under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan.
\nDuring his day-long visit to tribal district Bajaur and Sub- division Temergara in Lower Dir, the Chief Minister addressed independence march rallies, held media talks and inaugurated 18 developmental projects in Bajaur and 8 projects in Timergara.
\nWhile addressing media persons in tribal district Bajaur, the Chief Minister maintained that the imported federal government has withheld the budgeted share of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, including the developmental funds of the newly merged tribal districts.
\nHe made it clear that the provincial government has taken up the matter with the federal government through every official means, but the federal government has resorted to indifference as part of their immoral politics to create financial instability in the province.
\nCM-KP underlined that if this attitude persists, the provincial government will have to snatch its due rights by force.
\nMr Khan clarified that the provincial government is sincerely working for the uplift of the newly merged tribal districts for which the developmental budget was increased from Rs24 billion to Rs64 billion.
\nDuring the tenure of PTI chairman Imran Khan, all the projects were running smoothly and a new era of development ushered in the tribal districts to bring them at par with the mainstream areas of the province. However, the imported federal government has halted the budgeted share and developmental funds of the province, which is fueling apprehensions of continued exploitation in these areas. The Chief Minister maintained that the incumbent provincial government regularized the Khasadar force and project employees of the tribal districts and is currently funding the Sehat Insaf project in the merged tribal districts from its own kitty despite stoppage of funds from the federal government.
\nDuring his visit to District Bajaur, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 18 different developmental projects. According to details, the Chief Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony of 52.5 km long approach roads at 6 different spots, inaugurated the establishment of 12 primary schools, and the upgradation of 6 primary, 17 middle and 17 high schools in the district. He said that the provincial government is sincerely working for improvement of communication links and providing widespread and uniform educational opportunities in the merged tribal districts. He stated that the foundation stone for the establishment of Bajaur University will also be laid soon after the completion of codal formalities. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly established hockey turf, football ground and hostel in the sports complex at Khar in District Bajaur. He maintained that provision of a healthy environment for the younger generation is the manifesto of the incumbent provincial government and the same has been extended to the newly merged tribal districts. The inauguration of the newly established Rescue 1122 building was also held on the occasion.
\nAddressing a mass gathering in District Bajaur, the Chief Minister clarified that under the chairmanship of PTI Imran Khan, Pakistan was nearly freed from the clutches of the IMF but the corrupt politicians of the country resorted to regime change conspiracy and toppled a democratically elected government. The imported rulers are now running the country on foreign directives and do not represent national interests. The only way out of the current economic and political crisis is to hold free and fair elections in the country. During his visit to Tehsil Taimegara and district lower Dir, Mahmood Khan inaugurated 8 different development projects worth rupees 3 billion. According to details, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Balambat children park and inaugurated the upgradation of Maidan Hospital from Category -D to Category -C. The Chief Minister also performed a ground breaking ceremony for Kambar bypass road, Maidan to Barawal tunnel, jail Chowk to Taimer Chowk road and the construction of two bridges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
