{"id":295649,"date":"2022-11-17T08:53:43","date_gmt":"2022-11-17T03:53:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=295649"},"modified":"2022-11-17T08:53:43","modified_gmt":"2022-11-17T03:53:43","slug":"flight-simulator-grabs-attention-of-visitors-on-second-day-of-ideas-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/flight-simulator-grabs-attention-of-visitors-on-second-day-of-ideas-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Flight simulator grabs attention of visitors on second day of IDEAS-2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unique simulator is designed to save fuel used in training of pilots<br \/>\n KARACHI<br \/>\nThe 11th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS-2022 continues on the second consecutive day today (Wednesday) at the EXPO centre in Karachi.<br \/>\nAs Pakistan\u2019s biggest defence exhibition entered into its second day, a large number of national and international visitors, senior civil and military delegations including Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa and trade visitors visited the Expo Center.<br \/>\nA flight simulator developed by Pakistan Aviation Engineering School is also on the display which is capable of training two pilots at a time. The unique simulator is designed not just to save fuel used in training of pilots, but it will also help in training under bad weather conditions.<br \/>\nIn the exhibition modern defence artillery including armed vehicles, missiles, tanks and fighter jets have been showcased. The visitors are showing keen interest in the sophisticated fighter jet JF-17 Thunder, Al-Khalid tank, locally developed anti-ship cruise missile \u2018Harba\u2019 and other potent weapons.<br \/>\nThe Karachi Expo Center has been booked to its maximum capacity of more than 500 exhibitors from China, North America, T\u00fcrkiye, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Far East. Apart from trade visitors, more than 285 high-level delegates from 64 countries will also attend the exhibition.<br \/>\nThe traffic police announced a alternate route plan in a bid to save the commuters from inconvenience as some of the roads will be blocked. The four-day International Defence Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS-2022 kicked off in Karachi on Tuesday under strict security measures.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, a traffic plan has been issued for the IDEAS-22, according to which Sir Shah Sulaiman Road will remain closed from 7 am to 6 pm during the exhibition and only vehicles with permits will be allowed to enter the expo centre.<br \/>\nTraffic coming from Shariah Faisal, Nursery will not be allowed to proceed to the expo beyond the stadium. Traffic coming from Karsaz, Drigh Road, and Sharah-e-Faisal will move to NIPA from Millenium Mall. Traffic from Rashid Minhas Road will not be allowed to go to Dalmia Road via the stadium.<br \/>\nApart from this, NIPA, Drigh Road to Sharah-e-Faisal to Safora and Gulshan Chowrangi to Sohrab Gothwala Road will remain open.
