\nForeign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has said that Pakistan had narrowly avoided default, but the flood again pushed it in that direction. Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that the country was facing default when they assumed the government.
\n\u201cWe saved the country from default after establishing relations with all countries. So far as the US conspiracy narrative is concerned, Imran Khan himself has taken a U-turn over it,\u201d he added. The minister said that Pakistan needs relations with the United States on the basis of equality. \u201cWe want good relations with all neighbouring countries, including India.
\nOur focus is to advance the interest of Pakistan,\u201d he maintained.
