President Dr Arif Alvi says despite the fact that Pakistan has been facing difficulties and challenges, it has many strengths which helped it to successfully overcome many crises.
\nHe was virtually addressing a seminar on the role of Presidency, organized by London School of Economics Students Union Pakistan Development Society.
\nThe President said Pakistan advocates for peace throughout the world on the basis of equality, dignity and sovereignty and wants resolutions of outstanding international and regional conflicts through negotiations.
\nHe stressed that the international community and the United Nation should play their role to resolve the long standing issue of Jammu and Kashmir in the spirit of the UN Security Council\u2019s resolutions.
\nThe President said they should also take stock of rising religious extremism in India, its Hindutva ideology, Islamophobia and persecution of minorities, especially Muslims.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
