On the instructions of the provincial government, the first meeting of District Land Use Planning and Management Committee Haripur was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner.<\/p>\n

Tehsil Chairman Haripur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning), Assistant Commissioners, TMOs, representatives of all district departments and District Team Leader, SNG KP Programme participated in the meeting.<\/p>\n

The participants of the meeting were briefed about this new Act. The Act evolves around cities Master planning and zoning.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Sub-National Governance (SNG) Programme’s representative gave the presentation on the salient features of the Act. SNG team assured district land use planning and management committee to provide similar technical assistance in the future.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of this Act in the context of Haripur district. He expressed the hope that Haripur district will be amongst the first and model districts to implement the Act in true letter and spirit. DC Haripur also directed all members to ensure compliance with regard to land use.<\/p>\n

Deputy Commissioner Haripur especially thanked the Sub-National Governance Programme team, who had chosen Haripur district for their technical assistance.<\/p>\n
