\nThe President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has called for steps to expose India\u2019s disinformation campaign against Kashmir.
\nBarrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, talking to the media in Khoi Ratta town of Mirpur division, said India is involved in a malicious propaganda campaign by peddling lies to deceive the international community on Kashmir.
\n\u201cTo conceal the crimes and reign of state terrorism of its forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government is forcing the IIOJK-based United Nations Military Observer Group to leave so that the world does not get to know the real situation in and around Kashmir, especially on the Line of Control,\u201d Barrister Sultan said.
\nEarlier, speaking at a reception hosted in his honor in Kotli, he said that soon after the Modi-led fascist Indian government stripped Kashmir of its special status in August 2019, a comprehensive campaign aimed at exposing India\u2019s nefarious game plan was launched by him under which protest demonstrations were held in different European capitals.
\nThe AJK president said that he visited the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries to expose India\u2019s malafide intentions behind the move.
\n\u201cDuring my visits, I gave a detailed briefing to the international community on the Kashmir dispute and the ongoing human rights abuses in IIOJK,\u201d he said. He added that he had a series of important meetings with top officials of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the United Nations and the US state department and sought their urgent attention towards the deteriorating situation in the occupied territory.
\n\u201cSimilarly, I organized a big rally in Washington on the occasion of Black Day on 27 October to seek world attention towards the Kashmir issue\u201d, the president said.
\nOn this occasion, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, while referring to his recent visit to US, UK and other European countries, said that during these visits he had been able to present and plead the case of Kashmir effectively and sensitizing global community about the early solution of Kashmir dispute.
\nExpressing solidarity with the people of the occupied Kashmir, the AJK president said the day is not far when the occupied Kashmir would be freed from India\u2019s illegal occupation.
\nHe said that since 5th August 2019, Modi government had introduced a series of new laws to pave the way for changing the IIOJK\u2019s demography. He said that redrawing of the electoral map and reorganization of constituencies by the government was meant to install a \u201cHindu Chief Minister in the occupied territory.
\n\u201cI salute the people of IIOJK for their great struggle,\u201d he said, adding that Kashmiris\u2019 struggle for right to self-determination would continue at all fronts until Kashmir was freed from India\u2019s illegal occupation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
