\nKP Minister for Higher Education, Kamran Bangash has said that the provincial government has decided to impart skills and formally employ 84000 youth of the province. These youth would be imparted skills under the supervision of Science & Technology Department. He said that the chief minister has already approved the scheme.
\nHe expressed these views while addressing the concluding session of a Two-Day Business Expo in University of Peshawar here on Thursday.
\nThe provincial minister said that since the very first day in power, the provincial government has followed a zero rate interference policy in the affairs of the universities to promote productive capabilities. He said that organizing productive activities in universities is the symbol of peace and tolerance, which grows the thinking of harmony among the students of different political philosophies.
\nThe provincial minister for higher education said that a conducive environment for promotion of curricular activities is available in all universities of the province including the University of Peshawar.
\nHe told the students that business, cultural expos and study circles like healthy activities are the symbols of a good society, saying that the higher education department wants a free environment for students to continue their academic activities with an open mind.
\nHe said that youth are 58% of the total population of the country, therefore, they are the priority of the provincial government and making efforts that instead of job seekers they want to see them entrepreneurs.
