Islamabad High Court (IHC) has approved 14 days protective bail in respect of Suleman Shahbaz son of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in money laundering case. <\/p>\n
The protective bail plea came up for hearing before single bench of IHC headed by Chief Justice (CJ) Amir Farooq Tuesday. <\/p>\n
Suleman Shahbaz appeared in the court along with his counsel Amjid Pervez. <\/p>\n
The petitioner said he went abroad in 2018 and case was registered against him in 2020. No call up notice from FIA was received in money laundering case, he added. <\/p>\n
He pleaded that the court conducted proceedings of declaring him proclaimed offender in absentia. Protective bail be granted so that he could appear before respective court in Lahore.<\/p>\n
The CJ IHC questioned during the hearing he has to appear in what court. <\/p>\n
Amjid Pervez told the court he wants to appear in the court of special judge Central Lahore. <\/p>\n
The court after hearing the arguments of Suleman Shahbaz counsel granted protective bail for 14 days besides directing him to appear in the respective court within 14 days. <\/p>\n
Talking to media men outside the court Tuesday Suleman Shahbaz said baseless allegations were leveled against them. Fabricated cases were registered against Sharif family. What Imran Khan has done with us is all before you.
\nCases were got registered against us by pressurizing Javed Iqbal. <\/p>\n
He went on to say Bashir Memon told how Imran Khan pressurized him. Shahzad Akbar is not seen any where now a days. He has fled abroad. <\/p>\n
He held that baseless case was run against us for 18 months in UK.\t We faced it and emerged successful.
\nCase was framed against us in NCA at the behest of government of Pakistan. Shahzad Akbar kept on making round of London in this regard. NCA made investigation from me and Shahbaz Sharif and they could not find any proof . <\/p>\n
He stated Imran Khan should respond to the nation. He ruined the nation on cipher and later he fell on the feet of Americans. Imran Khan staged drama and hatched conspiracy and now he says he has committed mistake. Cipher drama has been exposed before all. <\/p>\n
He questioned what Imran Khan did in Tosha Khana. We will chase him. We will not give him any space. Follow up of the cases will be done. NCA is test case. Imran Khan has to render account. <\/p>\n
Imran Khan used to say FIA is subordinate to him. The nation forgot Imran Khan had cast his vote in favor of Pervez Musharraf referendum and later he turned against him.<\/p>\n
Helicopter bill was brought in KP assembly that the account of use of government resources be not taken from Imran Khan and his associates. Is helicopter of Imran Khan father that we should not seek account from him. <\/p>\n
