\nBank Alfalah, one of the largest commercial banks in the country, got accoladed by the prestigious Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) at the Pakistan Banking Awards for its services and entrenching the bank\u2019s position as an industry leader in transforming the future of banking in the country. The Bank has been conferred with \u2018Best Digital Banking\u2019 and \u2018Best Bank in Housing Finance\u2019 awards at the Pakistan Banking Awards 2022.
\nBank Alfalah was commemorated for its efforts in introducing innovative and transformative offerings, simplifying and easing customers\u2019 banking experience through its digital services. It was recognised for winning its customers\u2019 trust, who can avail end-to-end banking services and perform financial transactions from the comfort of their location. Today, 72 percent of the Bank\u2019s counter transactions come through its digital channels, and over 80 percent of bank accounts are opened digitally without paperwork.

\nIn addition to winning at the digital forefront, the bank also won the \u2018Best Bank in Housing Finance\u2019 for persistently demonstrating its commitment to home and construction financing segments in line with the Government\u2019s vision of \u2018Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar\u2019 (MPMG).
\nThe housing finance business showed tremendous growth; PKR 17.6 billion was disbursed to finance over 2500 households. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) also recognized Bank Alfalah\u2019s efforts to promote low-cost housing and was awarded for being the number one bank under MPMG with the highest disbursements in the industry. In addition, Bank Alfalah overachieved SBP mandatory targets for housing and construction.
