{"id":301734,"date":"2022-12-17T08:54:03","date_gmt":"2022-12-17T03:54:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=301734"},"modified":"2022-12-17T08:54:03","modified_gmt":"2022-12-17T03:54:03","slug":"pdma-releases-rs3-6m-for-nw-affectees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/pdma-releases-rs3-6m-for-nw-affectees\/","title":{"rendered":"PDMA releases Rs3.6m for NW affectees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> PESHAWAR<br \/>\nThe Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Friday released funds amounting to Rs3.6 million for the affectees of Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan.<br \/>\nAccording to Director General PDMA Sharief Hussain, the funds will be distributed among the registered affected families within the next two days by sending a message through their registered SIM cards.<br \/>\nAs per the details, each family will be given Rs12,000 as financial assistance and 8,000 as assistance for food items.<br \/>\n\u201cAbout 15,ooo affected families of the above-mentioned operation would receive the assistance,\u201d he added and said that seven thousand families have recently been returned from Afghanistan via the Ghulam Khan border.<br \/>\nMr Sharief maintained that 15,891 affected families of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan yet to repatriate from the neighboring country Afghanistan.<br \/>\nThe provincial government has initiated the process of their verification for the assistance, he added.<br \/>\nDG stated that the reason behind provision of compensation was to provide affected families financial support to reduce their problems.<br \/>\nHe added that the recent release of funds is the 100th installment of the series which has been regularly released every month to the victims of Operation Zarb Azab in North Waziristan.<br \/>\nHe said that so far, more than 1 lakh families affected during the operations have been returned to their native areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Friday released funds amounting to Rs3.6 million for the affectees of Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan.
