\nPakistani Weddings are waste of money, resources and time that have been following since ages, I feel embarrassed when I saw these wastages
\n\u201cMoney is not everything .Do you get married because of money? Do you have kids because of money?\u201d
\nPakistani weddings includes: performances, decorations, gatherings, food, traditional ceremonies and etc. A lot of work of hours and huge amount of money is spend to make an attractive wedding
\nWhile making the wedding perfect and attractive, we forget about the bond of Holy matrimony. Nobody thinks about the meri gold and roses faded away and the price of the bride wedding dress which is look forever in a suitcase. These grand weddings has now become a status symbol in our society.
\nIt all started with a dress . Wedding are structured around the dresses specially the wedding dress (Shadi k Jora) . The whole wedding revoved around the dress not the couple.The dress is not just important for the bride but it is important for the in-laws. And it is irrational to spend money on the dress for few hours
\n\u201cExpensive dresses are a waste of money \u201c
\nI am against the expensive dresses , my head is so spinning when i come to know about my dress who\u2019s worth was alot of money. As I was not willing to brought this dress , which cost same amount as we put four dresses together but nobody seemed to understand me. So that I protested against it and I didn\u2019t give up , then they allowed me whatever i want to wear .
\n\u201cIt\u2019s not a who_wore_what_when event !\u201d
\nTYPES OF WEDDING DRESSES;
\nWe will divide the wedding dresses on the bases of their prices in two types which can be given as follow
\nExpensive dresses
\nReasonable dresses
\nExpensive dresses
\nPeople buy expensive dresses to show-off their class and status, these dresses are commonly produced by celebrity designer and people buy these dresses and give excuses like they only wear branded dresses or show their brand consciousness.
\nThe reason why branded dresses are expensive because of the reason designer use gold threads or handmade clothing stuff for the sake of their reputation.
\nReasonable dresses:
\nApart from expensive dresses there are also some dresses found which are reasonable and easy to buy and prettier then expensive ones. Some brides brought very reasonable dresses and look so adorable. The beauty doesn\u2019t all about the dresses or the expensive, it\u2019s about the simplicity and the budged maintained by the family.
\nMORE FUNCTIONS & MORE CHECK_IN?
\nA typical wedding has not less than four functions. Its starts from dolki, Mayoo, Mehndi , Barat and Walima . Instead of wasting money on numerous functions why not splurge on vacationing with your better-half. A decent wedding and a reception along with any of other mentioned function are more than enough \u201cIt is such a happiness when good people get together \u2013and they always too\u201d
\nIt\u2019s a marriage \u2013a partnership for life, not a temporary business deal
\nEvery family wants to wed their children and ties them with a good family. The sad truth majority wedding focus on the wealth of family. It\u2019s a humble please , don\u2019t let your daughter\u2019s marriage became a deal by showering by the groom side and they think that their daughters is in a save hand .
\n\u201cDear ladies! Please choose your partner well, sincerely. Be it a love marriage or arrange marriage, don\u2019t let his money be qualifying criteria to tie the nod.\u201d
\nMoney and financial stability are important factors .Look for a compassionate partner, respectful person. Remember that only hard days, you don\u2019t want to be crying alone, even if it is in Ferrari.
\nLavish Food in wedding
\nMy second big objection is on the \u201cLavish spending on the food \u201c. The point is that we are wasting a lot of money on food in our weddings, they just think about the society what they think, not the money. I don\u2019t believe that a lot of people want to takes steps to eliminate the customs but they do not stands up to the cricisam of the society .we but take the responsibility that we are privilege one\u2019s .we need to propage this idea as much as possible and do not make a recipe for happy marriages
\nThe fairy tale marriages just rises fantasies, it never become a perfect marriage.
\n\u2018A goal should be restored the true meaning of marriages and celebrations, all the pretty moments need to understand that simplicity is the beauty.\u2019<\/p>\n
