{"id":303854,"date":"2022-12-28T08:19:22","date_gmt":"2022-12-28T03:19:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=303854"},"modified":"2022-12-28T08:19:22","modified_gmt":"2022-12-28T03:19:22","slug":"connectivity-projects-to-usher-in-regions-prosperity-pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/connectivity-projects-to-usher-in-regions-prosperity-pm\/","title":{"rendered":"Connectivity projects to usher in region\u2019s prosperity: PM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> ISLAMABAD<br \/>\nPrime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said the connectivity projects in the region will not only bring trade communities closer, but also usher in a new era of peace and prosperity.<br \/>\nThe prime minister expressed these views as he received a high-level delegation from Uzbekistan led by deputy prime minister, also Minister for Investment and Foreign Trade, Khodjaev Jamshid Abdukhakimovich.<br \/>\nRecalling his recent meetings with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sidelines of SCO Summit held in Samarkand in September and the 6th CICA Summit held in Astana, Kazakhstan in October 2022, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s resolve to further enhance the existing excellent relationship between the two brotherly countries. The prime minister said Pakistan offers connectivity to Central Asia through road and railways.<br \/>\nThe delegation apprised the Prime Minister about their meetings with economic ministries of Pakistan during which it was agreed to enhance economic and trade ties between the two countries. The visiting dignitary also briefed the prime minister about the discussions between the business groups of Pakistan and Uzbekistan in various fields.<br \/>\nThe prime minister appreciated that fruitful discussion between business community to establish B2B contacts would enhance bilateral trade and investment.
