Islamabad High Court (IHC) has raised important questions during the hearing of petition filed against terrorism cases in respect of information secretary, PTV MD, Director News and Mian Javed Latif press conference. <\/p>\n
The court inquired during the hearing can more than one cases be registered on one allegation. Can case be registered in Quetta if some one talks on TV in Islamabad or tweets. <\/p>\n
The court observed if the murder is committed in Islamabad then FIR will be lodged here too but as to why FIR is registered on the other places on other allegations. <\/p>\n
We summoned lawyers organizations for assistance for this reason that the registration of cases are being misused. How can hundred or thousands cases be registered regarding one case. Where is attorney general. <\/p>\n
Additional Attorney General (AAG) told the court if the stance is different in other FIR then it should be seen in this context too. <\/p>\n
The court remarked the case will be registered at the place where incident has taken place or where some one has talked.
\nThe court inquired where is Attorney General (AG). <\/p>\n
AAG told the court AG is outside the country. <\/p>\n
The court remarked ask the AG to come and assist the court on next hearing. <\/p>\n
The defence counsel told the court where the cases were registered the petitioners should go to the high courts of those areas.
\nThe court remarked high court is bound to get implement Supreme Court (SC) decision. If incident has taken place here then how can its cases be registered in other provinces. If the minister holds press conference in PIDC then can the terrorism case be registered against MD. <\/p>\n
The counsel for petitioner told the court minister press conference has run on other channels too. A list of these has also been enclosed. <\/p>\n
The court remarked is there any law here. <\/p>\n
The court while issuing notice to prosecutor general and advocate generals of Punjab and KP ordered they should assist the court in this case. <\/p>\n
