\nFood Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has increased the provincial quota of wheat from 5000 tons to 6500 tons per day, imported wheat has also arrived at the port.
\nFood Department clarified that there is no shortage of any kind of wheat or flour in the province.
\nAbbottabad district is given a quota of 234 tons of wheat per day, out of which 8190 bags of 20 kg are given to designated sale points across the district.
\nThe designated dealers of flour are from the remote areas of the whole district and are bound to supply government flour to the public.
\nDistrict Administration and Food Department officers and officials check them on daily basis, if anyone is found to be involved in any negligence strict action is taken against him.
\nDue to these effective measures of the provincial government, the price of flour has come down significantly these days.
\nAt present, there is no shortage of flour and wheat in the district and across the province.
\nThere is plenty of flour in the market, people are requested not to listen to these rumors.
\nThe district administration and the food department are playing their full role in ensuring the supply of flour to the people.
\nDepartment further informed that the official rate of flour is fixed at Rs 1295 for 20 kg.
\nDue to these measures of the provincial government, the rate of double super flour in Punjab or other open market which had gone up to 3000 thousand and now 27000 rupees and fine flour which went up to 3300 rupees now its rate has come up to 2900 and its rate will come down further.
\nThe rate of wheat which had gone up to Rs 5500 has now reached Rs 4400 and it will also decrease further.
\nFood Department further warned that if flour stockpiling or selling more than the official rate found, the district administration and the food department should be informed immediately and strict action should be taken against them. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
