The PA speaker expressed his thoughts on the vote of confidence, saying, \u201cI had vowed not to take the vote of confidence on Jan 11. Voting took place on Jan 12, not Jan 11, as I promised\u201d.<br \/>\nLashing out at the political opponents, the PA speaker said, \u201cThe opposition was causing uproar about 186 members for three days. When we had reached 186, they asked to stop the process of voting.\u201d<br \/>\nThe consultative meeting to discuss the political situation in the province was presided over by Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi who was joined by Speaker Sibtain Khan, Raja Basharat and MNA Chaudhry Hussain Elahi. The overall situation in the province was taken into account. Those who expressed trust in CM Elahi were praised at the consultative meeting.  Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, the Punjab chief minister was of the view that the governor had endorsed the opinion of the PTI and the PML-Q by withdrawing a denotification order.<br \/>\nCM Elahi slammed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, saying he [Rana] was diverting the attention of the masses by misinterpreting court\u2019s ruling.
