\nThe return of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK741 was delayed for 16 hours after the window glass of Boeing 777 broke during landing at Jeddah Airport.
\nAccording to the PIA sources, the return of the flight was delayed because the PIA crew did not have any replacement for the broken window glass. Over 300 passengers faced with a great deal of inconvenience due to the delay in return of the flight.
\nIt merits a mention here that the PIA plane, which had reached Jeddah from Islamabad on Wednesday, was to return on Thursday, with flight number PK740. A window glass for the replacement has been sent to Jeddah through flight PK731 from Karachi.
\nThe delay in the return of the flight will affect the schedule of flights to Jeddah till Friday. At least eight flights and over 2,000 passengers will be affected by the delay.
