RPO Sajjad Khan orders strict action against criminals, drugpushers
\n MALAKAND
\nRegional Police Office (RPO) Malakand released the annual performance report for 2022 which claimed that about 7260 suspects have been arrested for interrogation and 5138 illegally smuggled timber sleepers have been seized during the year.
\nAccording to the performance report issued by the RPO office for the recovery of stolen property, blockades, police operations and other operations mentioned above, a large number of illegal weapons and drugs have also been seized.
\nOn the clear instructions of Malakand RPO Sajjad Khan, the police carried out successful operations in the districts of Swat, Bunir, Shangla, Dir Upper, Dir Lower, Bajaur, Chitral Lower and Chitral Upper, and conducted search and strike operations based on secret information.
\n\u201c184 MG guns, 202 rifles, 784 shotguns, 2880 pistols and 80916 pistols were seized during checking, night patrolling and other operations in 2022,\u201d the report said. According to the data, 184 daggers, 1171 magazines, about 111kg of explosives, 2711 mines, two rocket launchers, 14 rocket shells, 36 handgrenades, 13880 detonators, 10 mortar shells and 12 self-made bombs have also been taken recovered by the police in same period of time.
\nWhile conducting anti-narcotics operations across the region,the police in the Malakand region have seized about 1718kg of hashish, about 220 kg of opium, 63 kg of heroin, about 28 kg of ice and 3396 liters of alcohol.
\nIn the places, the police have performed the irresponsibilities in the tourist areas for the safety of the tourists and their reception and facilitation, and have performed their duties well in the various festivals organized for tourism.
\nIn this regard, Malakand RPO Sajjad Khan said that police operations against anti-social elements, drugs, and the perpetrators of social evils in the society will continue without interruption and no one has been allowed to take the law into their own hands.
\nMr Khan added while commenting on the annual report that all the District Police Officers (DPOs) have been directed to maintain law and order in their districts.
\nSuspects involved in crimes, carrying illegal weapons, drug dealers,underplay, and moneylenders should be identified and efforts for their arrest must be made as early as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
