\nPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan accused Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led-government of \u201cdeliberately generating crisis\u201d in Pakistan. Former premier Imran Khan delivered a video address to the legal community at the \u201cRule of Law\u201d convention here on Friday.
\nThe former prime minister went on to say in the convention that the crisis was created on purpose, and that \u201cit is not a natural disaster.\u201d In his remarks at the ceremony, the former prime minister stated that Pakistan has never experienced a bigger economic crisis than the one it is currently experiencing.
\nHe said no one economic expert can fill the gap of devaluation of the rupee except the investment of overseas Pakistanis in the country. Imran Khan urged the legal community that there is a need for rule of law and justice in society because it is a Jihad and everyone should play their due role for the sake of the nation.
\nImran Khan said his doubts have been removed and now he is very sure that three influential personalities were directly involved in the attack on him in the Wazirabad rally.
\nDiscussing the issue of the \u2018Deep State\u2019, Imran Khan said there are existing more powerful people than the government in Pakistan and this was the reason that he failed to register his FIR despite having the government in the province of Punjab.
\nHe also criticized Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for trying to get the friendship of Indian PM Modi who is involved in the oppression of innocent people in occupied Kashmir. \u201cOne guy chose to alter the [PTI] rule through a conspiracy,\u201d he claimed, without naming former army chief Gen Bajwa.
\nImran Khan said that former army chief Qamar Bajwa had given the rulers the NRO II after former president Pervez Musharraf. He said that the PTI government was toppled due to the decision of a person. \u201cUnbearable trials are coming if reforms are not introduced in the country,\u201d he warned.
\nThe former premier said that the only way to steer the country of the crisis is the justice system. \u201cThese people have been selling the flood to get money. The country has not faced such a huge crisis in the history. Saudi Arabia has also told that the loan will be given on conditions,\u201d he added.
\nImran Khan expressed concerns over the potential for unprecedented inflation levels as the government looks to revive loan program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
\nThe ex-PM emphasized the importance of a fair justice system for all citizens and criticized the current government for altering National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws to absolve corrupt individuals.
\nImran Khan alleged that he was unable to get the inclusion of a military official\u2019s name in the investigation of a gun attack against him as he defined how the law of the land favored the powerful. He also claimed that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) was pressured and its members changed their statements in court.
\nEarlier, in an interview with BBC, PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that there is no option except to go to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) otherwise the country could default.
\nHe said that it was not possible to end the political role of the establishment overnight. \u201cIf the civilian government has responsibility, then it should be given the power. The system cannot work out if the power is with another person,\u201d he added.
\nImran Khan said that he did not consider himself secure after the attempt on his life. \u201cIt will not happen that we will sit in our house. We will launch a vigorous campaign,\u201d he added. He said that there was no such case against him under which he could be disqualified.
\n \u201cThe government is trying its best to get myself disqualified. We will stage protest demonstrations if I am disqualified,\u201d he maintained. The former prime minister said that economic stability had become impossible due to political instability. \u201cPakistan can achieve economic stability only through transparent elections.
\nHe said that he had always opposed the support for the war against terrorism. \u201cIt does not mean I am an anti-America person.
