The responsibility will have to be fixed and those found responsible will have to be punished, he said this while presiding over federal cabinet meeting here Tuesday at PM house. <\/p>\n
The PM expressed annoyance over participants of federal cabinet at the inception of the meeting. <\/p>\n
He rejected all the explanations from ministry of power and the minister for energy Khurram Dastgir Khan saying the entire country remained plunged in the darkness and you could not find fault. Instead of sitting in closed room, go to filed and ascertain the matters. <\/p>\n
The PM inquired from the federal minister have you any realization how much people suffered and underwent trouble. This all is not acceptable. Fix the responsibility and award punishment. <\/p>\n
If the power plants were not repaired or transmission system was old then who is its responsible. Still the complaints are there that the power supply has not been restored fully so far. This complaint should be redressed. <\/p>\n
PM said the minister who cannot discharge his obligations honestly should leave his post. <\/p>\n
The participants of meeting said during their address the people are already annoyed with the government due to inflation. Due to this prolonged power break down we are under fire every where. <\/p>\n
The meeting approved several agenda items. <\/p>\n
Briefing on launching media campaign about conservation of electricity was given to the participants of the meeting. <\/p>\n
Tosha Khana matter also came under discussion. The authorities gave detailed briefing to the participants of the meeting about Toshakhana. <\/p>\n
The federal cabinet gave approval to make public all the record of Toshakhana. How many gifts were received by any ruler and what amount was paid against them. This all will be made public.
\nThe ministerial committee recommendations about Toshakhana were approved. <\/p>\n
