{"id":31100,"date":"2018-09-14T17:21:48","date_gmt":"2018-09-14T07:21:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=31100"},"modified":"2018-09-14T17:21:48","modified_gmt":"2018-09-14T07:21:48","slug":"inzamam-demands-investigation-over-nepotism-allegation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/inzamam-demands-investigation-over-nepotism-allegation\/","title":{"rendered":"Inzamam demands investigation over nepotism allegation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am really disappointed with this act, literally there is someone who is trying to defame me for no reason<br \/>\nNEWS DESK<br \/>\nLAhore<br \/>\nThe Pakistan cricket team chief selector, Inzamam-ul-Haq demanded investigation over the claim being made on him by the former Test cricketer Abdul Qadir that he has contacted Basit Ali\u2013 chief selector of the National junior team, for his son\u2019s inclusion.<br \/>\nInzamam while reacting to the allegations made on him in a video message said that the one who is spreading such rumors would face its serious outcomes.<br \/>\n\u201cI am really disappointed with this act, literally there is someone who is trying to defame me for no reason,\u201d Inzamam claimed in a video he posted from his Twitter account.<br \/>\nThe former test cricketer said that it is now intolerable for him and he is going to meet the PCB chairman Ehsan Mani to discuss this matter.<br \/>\nHe added that if he has contacted someone to influence his son\u2019s selection in the National team then he is ready to leave his designation otherwise the one who has claimed such things will face the same punishment.<br \/>\nHe, in his video, said that \u201cI am going to meet Mr. Ehsan Mani as this matter is really conscious for me. I am positive for not contacting anyone for such means,\u201d<br \/>\nOn the other hand, the National junior team\u2019s chief selector Basit Ali also denied for getting any call from Inzamam regarding his son\u2019s selection.<br \/>\nHe also asked the PCB to investigate this matter in order to sort out the things to avoid further controversies.<br \/>\n\u201cI would like to request the PCB to take legal action against those who are spreading such rumors,\u201d Basit said.<br \/>\nThe former right-hand test batsman, Mohammad Yousuf also raised the voice in favor of his friend Inzamam and demanded immediate investigation over this matter.<br \/>\n\u201cThis is not something that we can ignore, the one who is doing such things must face its outcomes,\u201d Yousuf said.<br \/>\nEarlier, Inzamam also faced serious criticism over selecting his nephew Imam-ul-Haq in the National squad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am really disappointed with this
