Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said no decision has been taken to announce date for holding polls in respect of Punjab and KP assembles.<\/p>\n

The ECP spokesperson said decision was not taken to write letters to governors of both the provinces of Punjab and KP in this regard. <\/p>\n

The spokesperson said the media reports circulating with reference to sources about law wing are baseless. <\/p>\n

According to ECP there is no substance in news items about making announcement of date for polls by ECP in the event no date is given by governor. <\/p>\n

On the other side ECP has issued schedule for holding by polls on more 31 seats of National Assembly. The by polls will take place on March 19. The nomination papers can be filed from February 10 to 14. . <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
