WASHINGTON: Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan has called for harnessing diplomacy to resolve Kashmir issue. In an interview with a leading US magazine, he said Kashmir is becoming a blind spot of international community. He said the current state of affairs in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is abysmal. He said India is committing worst human rights violations in the occupied valley. He said there are no civil liberties or fundamental freedoms in IIOJK and entire territory is being ruled by fear and intimidation. To a question regarding Pakistan\u2019s willingness to talk, Masood Khan said Pakistan and Kashmiris are always ready to talk. He, however, reiterated that for any meaningful and result-oriented talk, India must hold in abeyance its illegal and unilateral actions that were taken on August 2019 in IIOJK.
