\nPakistan on Sunday observed \u2018Kashmir Solidarity day\u2019 to express unflinching support of Pakistani nation to the just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under the UN resolutions.
\nSolidarity walks are being organized in Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and in four provincial capitals. Human chains were formed at Kohala and other important points linking Pakistan and it\u2019s administered part of Jammu and Kashmir.
\nPresident Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in their messages on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, have urged the international community to take practical steps to hold India accountable for its gross and widespread human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
\nPresident, in his message, also called upon India to allow unfettered access to the UN and OIC observers, international media and human rights organizations to IIOJK.
\nHe said we pay rich tribute to the selfless sacrifices made by our Kashmiri brothers and sisters during their decades-old resistance to the Indian occupation.
\nPrime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistanis will always stand side by side with their Kashmiri brethren in their struggle for freedom.
\nTalking to a delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Muzaffarabad on Sunday, he said that he himself has exposed the atrocities of India on Kashmiris in front of the world at every international forum.
\nHe urged all stake holders to demonstrate unity to achieve the freedom of Kashmir. The delegation paid tribute to the Prime Minister for exposing India\u2019s oppression in occupied valley.
\nChairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Services Chiefs and Armed Forces of Pakistan pay tribute to the indigenous freedom struggle of brave Kashmiris for their right to self-determination as per UN resolutions and aspirations of people of Kashmir.
\nIn a tweet today, DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said no amount of human rights violations and atrocities can suppress the spirit of Kashmiris for freedom.
\nForeign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called upon India to end its gross human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and reverse its unilateral and illegal actions of 5 August 2019 including demographic changes.
\nIn his message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Foreign Minister said India must repeal draconian laws, allow UN-mandated investigations into cases of extrajudicial killings and implement relevant UN Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.
\nHe said Jammu and Kashmir dispute will remain a key pillar of Pakistan\u2019s foreign policy.
\nFinance Minister Ishaq Dar said Pakistan is committed to its unwavering political, moral and diplomatic support to the just struggle of our Kashmiri brethren for their right of self-determination.
