\nIllegally detained senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Shabbir Ahmed Shah has thanked the government and particularly the people of Pakistan for expressing complete solidarity with the struggling people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
\nShabbir Ahmed Shah in his message from the infamous Tihar jail extended his heartfelt gratitude to the government and particularly the people of Pakistan for their wholehearted support to Kashmiris\u2019 ongoing struggle for right to self-determination.
\nThe observance of Kashmir Day, he said amply demonstrated Pakistan\u2019s consistent policy, its unwavering commitment and allegiance towards the cause of Kashmir. The people of Kashmir, he added, deeply appreciate this enduring support on the part of Pakistan that stood with the suffering Kashmiris and advocated their cause at world level despite facing many daunting challenges.
\n\u201cWe hope that Pakistan will continue to extend its moral, political and diplomatic support till we achieve our cherished goal of freedom from India\u2019s unlawful and forcible occupation\u201d, Shabbir Shah said.
\nLauding Pakistan\u2019s role for championing the cause of Kashmir, he said that Pakistan has always played a very pivotal role in providing every possible support at regional and international level to the ongoing liberation struggle of the Kashmiri people.
\nSeeking peace, prosperity and economic stability for the people of Pakistan the DFP leader said, \u201cA politically stable and economically strong Pakistan was guarantor to the success of Kashmiris\u2019 freedom struggle\u201d.
\nAPHC leaders Khadim Hussain and Syed Sibte Shabbir Qumi in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said solidarity with the subjugated people of Kashmiris by the government and people of Pakistan would further boost their morale.
\nThey said Pakistan is a party to the Kashmir dispute and it wants Kashmiris to get their birthright to self-determination, adding that the lingering Kashmir dispute must be resolved through United Nations resolutions so that permanent peace could be established in the region.
\nGeneral Secretary of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Muhammed Saleem Zargar in a statement issued in Srinager, thanking the government and people of Pakistan for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day, today, said that as a principal party to the Kashmir dispute Pakistan has always been on fore front to support the right to self-determination of the subjugated people of Kashmir.
\nHe said despite facing so many harder problems and pressures on domestic and international front Pakistan has never disappointed people of Kashmir with its political moral and diplomatic support.
