The court also exempted the PTI chief from appearance on medical grounds. Babar Awan, counsel for Imran, and Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha, the petitioner, appeared in the court. When Awan filed an application in the court for the exemption of his client from appearance, the judge asked him how many days it would take Imran to recover. Awan replied it would still take 20 to 25 days for him to recover. \u201cImran\u2019s medical report is attached,\u201d his counsel told the court. Ranjha said that Imran talked about justice, but not once did he appear before police. \u201cI don\u2019t think he would come to the court for the next six months. Her injuries are merely a lame excuse.
