\nExpressing grave concern over resurgence of terrorists\u2019 activities in Karachi and elsewhere in the country, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah demanded to strictly implement the National Action Plan (NAP) to completely wipe out the menace of terrorism.
\nShah in a statement issued here on Saturday strongly condemned the terrorists attack on police station in Karachi, describing it an attempt to sabotage the peace of \u2018economic jugular vein\u2019 of Pakistan.
\nSimilarly, he denounced the attack on the police station in Peshawar and re-emergence of terrorists in South Waziristan.
\nHe stressed peace and political stability are vital for revival of the ailing economy of the country.
\nFaiq urged the government and security institutions to revisit the overall law and order situation and upgrade it as per growing challenges at internal and external fronts.
\nHe appreciated the security forces for repulsing the terrorists attack and preventing major damage in tribal districts and parts of the country.
\nAnti-state elements and troublemakers cannot be succeeded in their nefarious designs, he remarked.
\nShah said the attacks cannot deter determination and resilience of the security force and the whole nation to quell the scourge of the terrorism.
\nHowever, he said the government\u2019s prime duty is to ensure protection of life and property of the masses.
\nTherefore, he asked it to take stringent steps to maintain law and order throughout the country.
\nMeanwhile, the ATP chief addressing at a youth convention here on Saturday said that youth are the prime source of Pakistan\u2019s progress, which should be lifted at sound footings.
\nShah is highly worrisome about the increasing brain drain, saying that a large number of competent quality youths with skills in hand are ready to leave the country.
\nThe ATP chairman criticized the government for its inability to fully utilize the youth skills and utilize them for the country\u2019s economic prosperity and development.
\nFaiq fired broadside at the present coalition government, saying that everything has been put into stake for personal interests and politics.
\nHe added rulers have engaged in non-issues to hide their failure as they had completely failed to deliver masses, even left no stone unturned to elevate the miseries of poverty-stricken people.
\nShah stressed that dialogue is the only way to end the political and economic instability in the country.
\nHe gave heavy weight behind the president\u2019s proposals for defusing the growing political tension in the country.
