\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Information and Public Relations Arshad Khan has said that it is a duty for all human beings to acquire knowledge, which is of two types Farz-e-Ain and Farz-e- Kifaya.
\nHe said by learning one learns to live the best life in the world.
\nHe said that the purpose of education is to prepare a person with the best ways to live a good life in the world so that he can use modern means to live a good life keeping in mind the challenges of the world.
\nHe expressed these views while addressing a workshop in BISE Mardan , the topic of which was to create innovation in marking and assessment for training and education.
\nHigher Authorities of Education Department from District Mardan, Swabi and Nowshera and the education related people from the private sector also attended the workshop.
\nThe aim of the workshop was to create awareness among the public and to improve the scoring and assessment system to bring out their potential among students so that students can enhance their thinking and creativity.
\nArshad Khan further said in order to get good education and training, it is very important that knowledge is imparted in one\u2019s mother tongue so that it can be understood in a better way and he could express his thoughts correctly.
\nHe said that learning every language is a good thing, but acquiring knowledge in one\u2019s own language is very useful for a person. It was a custom which unfortunately ended later and we became dependent on the knowledge of others.
\nReferring to the chemical dye used in the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore as an example, Secretary Information said that even with today\u2019s advanced and modern methods, such a color is not produced.
\nHe urged the participants to provide the students with good academic knowledge as well as focus on acquiring technical education so that in future they can lead an independent economic life under self-employment.
\nSecretary Information added said that in the present era, the biggest obstacle in the acquisition of knowledge is the knowledge of the language for education, but during the corona virus, this experience was successful through modern technology and the use of the Internet, distance education, i.e. online.
