The police attempted to nab the accused, but the accused, flanked by the PTI workers and lawyers, tortured the policemen and fled away. ATC Admin Judge Abhar Gul Khan conducted the hearing. Salim Ladi and Chaudhry Nauman Atiq Advocate argued before the court on behalf of the accused. Deputy Prosecutor Amjad Javed requested to dismiss the bail plea. \u201cThe accused had fired shots at policemen and also ripped their uniforms. Weapons and liquor had also been recovered from the dera of the accused,\u201d Amjad Javed told the court.
