\nFederal Minister Shazia Marri said on Saturday efforts were being made to alleviate inflation in the country mentioning her party was not paying attention to the action of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan.
\nShe stated this while inaugurating Benazir Dynamic Registry under the Benazir Income Support Program.
\nThe PPP leader criticized Imran Khan in her speech and said it was not appropriate that the children of other people remained in Pakistan and faced problems in jail-filling drive while his children remained in London.
\nShe added PTI\u2019s chief was keen to get back in power mentioning he used to say he would not sign the deal with IMF but entered into agreement on worse conditions.
\nShe said that the inflation crossed all the limits due to poor policies of PTI government adding that Mr Niazi should think for the country.
\nShe recalled that IK used to say that he would commit suicide rather going to IMF, but his previous government inked numerous agreements with the Fund.
\nThe minister said that the incumbent government extended relief even in hard times the country was undergoing, adding that the BISP beneficiaries would get 25 percent extra in quarterly installment.
\nShe informed that the government had provided Rs 70 billions for flood victims. The government was trying to prevent the country from default, she expressed. Shazia Marri said that Pakistan People\u2019s Party was ready for elections as it was the requirement of the Constitution, adding that PPP\u2019s last government had provided economic assistance to lakh of families by providing income support.
\nThe political opponents criticized BISP, despite of appreciating the Programme by the United Nations.
