{"id":317878,"date":"2023-03-07T08:08:39","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T03:08:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=317878"},"modified":"2023-03-07T08:08:39","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T03:08:39","slug":"pna-rejects-doctors-appointment-in-nursing-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/pna-rejects-doctors-appointment-in-nursing-college\/","title":{"rendered":"PNA rejects doctor\u2019s appointment in nursing college"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> PESHAWAR<br \/>\nThe Provincial Nurses Association (PNA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has expressed concerns about the appointment of a doctor as the principal of Government College of Nursing Dera Ismail Khan.<br \/>\nThe president of the PNA Inayatul Haque said in a statement here on Monday the appointment is against the rules and termed the development as \u2018illegal and unconstitutional\u2019.<br \/>\nInayatul Haque said that the appointment of a doctor to principal post in a college for nursing was made by Director General (DG) of Health Services and termed it against the law, adding \u201cit is an insult not only to the nurses of Dera Ismail Khan but to the nurses of the entire province\u201d.<br \/>\nGeneral Secretary of PNA Anwar Sultana has said that non-nurse appointments should be made to administrative positions of nurses.<br \/>\nShe said that the nurses\u2019 community across the province has strongly opposed the appointment and district associations of the nurses have also recorded their protests against the appointment.<br \/>\nNurses in Kohat, Hangu, Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Bajaur, Batkhela, Buner, Mansehra protest against the violation.<br \/>\nThere are a number of professional nurses having high graduates of foreign universities.
