{"id":320911,"date":"2023-03-22T09:07:31","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T04:07:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=320911"},"modified":"2023-03-22T09:07:31","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T04:07:31","slug":"imran-gets-relief-from-lhc-in-terrorism-cases-nab-notices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/imran-gets-relief-from-lhc-in-terrorism-cases-nab-notices\/","title":{"rendered":"Imran gets relief from LHC in terrorism cases, NAB notices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PTI chief granted protective bails in two call-up-notices initiated by NAB and two FIRs registered against him<br \/>\n Lahore<br \/>\nLahore High Court\u2019s two separate division benches, one headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and the second by Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi granted protective bails to former prime minister Imran Khan in two call-up-notices in different inquiries initiated by the NAB and two FIRs registered against him under anti-terrorism charges respectively.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh (single bench), while issuing notices to concerned quarters, has sought replies from chief secretary Punjab and Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab by Mach 28 in a contempt petition filed by PTI head Imran Khan against the Zaman Park operation which he claimed violated TORs agreed by local police, Punjab administration and PTI leadership. Justice Sheikh hearing another plea filed by PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry seeking details of the cases registered against Imran Khan and PTI leaderships, sought complete details of the cases from federal law office along with affidavit by March 22. Justice Sheikh also restrained the concerned quarters from taking any coercive measures till submission of the report.<br \/>\nThe terrorism cases were registered against Imran Khan over the violence that ensued at the Islamabad Judicial Complex last week.<br \/>\nA division bench, headed by Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi, took up the former prime minister\u2019s plea seeking protective bail in two terrorism cases after PTI supporters had clashed with the police in the federal capital.<br \/>\nImran was granted relief until March 27. It may be noted that on Monday, the court made it clear that if PTI Chairman Imran Khan seeks relief in terrorism cases filed against him, he must appear in court on Tuesday (today). Imran arrived at the court premises in a rather discrete fashion earlier today, accompanied by party leader Fawad Chaudhry.<br \/>\nThe PTI chief could be seen being escorted inside the court premises surrounded by security blankets.<br \/>\nIt may be noted that among the multiple hearings, he was scheduled to attend today, one pertained to the security concerns Imran had expressed during his court
