The FIA Karachi director took notice of the news aired on the national media and ordered immediate inquiry against the two officers. The first inquiry was ordered by FIA Karachi Director Abdul Salam Sheikh against Inspector Mansoor Khan Mohmand. On the complaint of Uzair Hanif, a local builder, the inspector posted in FIA Karachi Corporate Crime Circle was ordered to report to Zonal Office Karachi. Inspector Mansoor Mohmand had overstepped his authority and threatened the builder. An inquiry against him was ordered over abusing power. In another action, Assistant Director Nabil Mehboob was posted from FIA Karachi State Bank Circle to Zonal Office Karachi. The FIA Karachi director (admin) was ordered to conduct an inquiry against the assistant director and submit a report.
