According to the railway authorities, the railway bridge was damaged on August 25, 2022 due to heavy rains and floods. The bridge had collapsed a few kilometers away from the Machh railway station in the middle of the mountains. \u201cWork for the reconstruction of the bridge is in the final stage, and the train service will be resumed within 10 days,\u201d the railway officials said. It is to be noted here that the train operation was reduced to Machh railway station after the collapse of the bridge.
