\nCaretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited \u201cAafiat Old Age Home\u201d, an institution established for elderly in Social Welfare Complex Township and distributed Eid gifts among them.
\nMohsin Naqvi visited the Old Age Home to comfort the elderly, spent time with them and cheered them on Eid while presenting gifts.
\nMohsin Naqvi went to the rooms of all the elderly living in Aafiat and met them individually while inquiring about the facilities provided in the old age home.
\nThe elderly expressed their satisfaction over the quality of food and other facilities in Aafiat saying the facilities here cannot be described in words, but unfortunately their blood relations have turned backs towards them and now the outsiders seems to be their own.
\nNaqvi while talking to the elderly said \u201cI have come to share the joy of Eid with you as it is our responsibility to take care of the elders like you.\u201d
\nThe Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister also ordered the registration of all senior citizens residing in Aafiat in the Benazir Income Support Program and also directed to conduct regular medical check-up of the senior citizens.
\nHe also met columnist Athar Zameer in Afiyat and assured him of solving his problems. In this regard, he issued on-the-spot instructions to Provincial Information Minister Aamir Mir and DGPR Rubina Afzal.
\nLater, Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the dining room of the elderly and issued instructions to the Provincial Information Minister Aamir Mir and DGPR Rubina Afzal on the spot regarding improvements.
\nProvincial Ministers Azfar Ali Nasir, Amir Mir, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider, DGPR and officials of Social Welfare Department were also present on the occasion.

\nThe chief minister also went to Children\u2019s Hospital, Lahore where he stopped by the family members of a deceased girl and inquired about the matter. \u201cOur baby girl Kinza Fatima was poisoned by a close relative. We want the postmortem of the girl,\u201d they told the chief minister.
\nMohsin Naqvi ordered to conduct the post-mortem of the deceased girl and assured the girl\u2019s family of justice.
