\nPakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Javed Latif said on Monday the \u2018facilitators\u2019 are trying to bring Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan back in power.
\nDuring a presser in Lahore, the federal minister reprimanded the ongoing negotiations between the coalition government and the PTI. On the ongoing negotiations between the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the PML-N leader maintained that negotiations aren\u2019t conducted with terrorists\u2019 wings.
\n\u201cTalks are never held with those who throw petrol bombs nor with those who are instruments of world powers. Negotiations are not held with those who talk about Mir Jaffer, Mir Sadiq,\u201d Latif said.
\nThe PML-N leader also mocked the role of the country\u2019s law enforcement agencies stating that they can fight rocket launchers in the ongoing operation against dacoits in Rahim Yar Khan, but cannot counter petrol bombs. \u201cIt is not the responsibility of the incumbent government, but of those sitting in the institutions,\u201d he said while sharing his viewpoint. He further labelled the opposition party as \u2018terrorists\u2019 and rejected the idea of holding talks with the political rival.
\n\u201cTalks should never be held with terrorists and those who want to destroy national institutions\u201d, he said.
\nHe questioned why former Inter-Services Intelligence chief Faiz Hamid and ex-Supreme Court chief justice Asif Saeed Khosa do not respond to the allegations being made against them. \u201cHave state institutions become so weak or the people sitting in them have been compromised?\u201d he asked.
\nThe PML-N leader further criticized the PTI chairman saying that Imran Khan is repeatedly confessing to crime, but he is being safeguarded and therefore, his real face has not been exposed till date. The truth is not being revealed as everyone\u2019s interests are connected, he said.
\nMr Latif underscored that bringing out the truth is the responsibility of those sitting in the institutions, but there are people who have conspired with the PTI chairman. He questioned that why the audio leaks are not being taken notice of?
\n\u201cNegotiations are being held with an anarchist group under the pressure of someone,\u201d said Mr Latif. Reminding everyone about the progress the country witnessed during the PML-N\u2019s previous governments, Latif said: \u201cIndustrial development, China\u2013Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and bringing peace are [party supremo] Nawaz Sharif\u2019s efforts,\u201d he said.
\nThe minister shed light on his party\u2019s contribution to improving the country\u2019s situations. \u201cWheat has been produced in abundance, the economy is recovering, we are presenting Pakistan\u2019s case better globally,\u201d Latif asserted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
