Governor Punjab said that today is the day to recognize the role of the working class in the development of the country.<br \/>\nHe said that vocational education is very important and along with it the implementation of safety rules for the safety of workers in factories and industries is also very important.<br \/>\nHe said that vocational training is very important and the  skilled labor needs to be properly trained. Governor Punjab said that Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, in the past as Chief Minister of Punjab took steps for educating the children of kiln workers and ending child labour at brick kilns.<br \/>\nHe said that the countries in which the policies continued persistently have progressed. Governor Punjab further said that today we should also pay tributes to the soldiers and martyrs of Pakistan Army who are rendering matchless sacrifices for the nation and the country.<br \/>\nSecretary Auqaf, Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari, Khatib Badshahi Masjid, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, representatives of labor unions and a large number of other men and women participated in the ceremony.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of senior journalist, and life member of Lahore Press Club Saleem Butt. He said that late Saleem Butt rendered valuable services in the field of journalism.
