Federal Minister for Climate Change, Senator Sherry Rehman on Monday felicitated the Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PPP) leadership and party workers on the victory in the local body by-elections.<\/p>\n
In a series of tweets, the federal minister extended her congratulations for achieving a landslide victory in the local body polls.<\/p>\n
Senator Rehman said, \u201cOnce again in Karachi PPP\u2019s arrow bagged maximum votes.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI congratulate the leadership of the People\u2019s Party, elected candidates, voters and workers for the success in the local body by-elections.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added that success in 7 out of 11 Union Councils was proof of the popularity and public confidence of the People\u2019s Party.<\/p>\n
She extended her gratitude to the voters for their trust.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe People\u2019s Party is engaged in public service throughout Sindh, that is the reason why the People\u2019s Party has emerged as the largest party in the provincial local elections,\u201d Sherry Rehman said.<\/p>\n
The credit for this success and popularity of PPP goes to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur, she said, adding, \u201cWe are equally excited for the general elections.\u201d<\/p>\n
Under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal, the People\u2019s Party was ready to contest the general elections across the country, Sherry Rehman said.<\/p>\n
