LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday submitted a supplementary investigation report to an accountability court of Lahore in which it declared Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz innocent in the money laundering case. The NAB also declared other accused in the case innocent, stating that no evidence of corruption had been found against Shehbaz Sharif and others. Accountability Court No 9 judge Qamarul Zaman heard the case. \u201cShehbaz Sharif and other accused have been declared innocent,\u201d the investigation officer told the court. \u201cWhy were they declared guilty in the reference that had been submitted earlier?\u201d the judge questioned. \u201cInvestigation was carried out again under the new NAB law, and corruption related to the assets was not found,\u201d the investigation officer further told the court.
