\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah said that the intensification in political turmoil, riots and mayhem won\u2019t favour for Pakistan under the prevailing circumstances and called for calm and stop damaging and destroying public properties,
\nHe emphasized it is essential to fully abide by the law and constitution of the land so that it will eject the country from crossroads situations.
\nShah while talking to representatives of various media outlets on Thursday noted that anti-government riots post arrest of the ousted prime minister Imran Khan had so far claimed lives of more than eight people and injured nearly 290 across the country.
\nHe urged the political leaders and workers to demonstrate passion and stop taking the law of the land in their hands.
\nThe ATP chairman termed vandalizing and damaging public properties a loss to our own national economy and country, which is highly condemnable.
\nHe demanded stern action against those who were involved in setting public properties on fire and creating unrest and turbulence in the country.
\nShah said it is the duty of law enforcement agencies to ensure safety of people and public properties.
\nThe ongoing political unrest and riots only served interests of non-state actors and benefited enemies of Pakistan, he added.
\nShah warned the fragile economy, trade, businesses and industries would further push toward destruction in wake of riots and mayhem in the country.
\n\u201cWe have lost golden chance by failing in making success in dialogue, which could have assist to bring political and economic stability\u201d,
\nHe blamed the government for its inability to control the situation that has brought escalation in political chaos that resultantly the country was hit by riots, mayhem and unstable situation.
\nFaiq remarked enforcement of law and constitution would eject the country from present crossroads situations.
