Yasmin Rashid, former Punjab minister for health, was also arrested from Lahore at half past six in the morning.<br \/>\nPTI leader Andleeb Abbas confirmed Dr Yasmin Rashid had been arrested by the police. She said Yasmin Rashid was hiding in Defence or Cavalry Ground area in Lahore and was planning to travel to Islamabad along with her supporters. Andleeb said Yasmin Rashid was taken into custody 6:30 am in the morning.<br \/>\nA day earlier PTI Central Punjab President Dr Yasmin Rashid had castigated Punajb Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar for making irresponsible statements against her, saying he should be ashamed; she always encouraged peaceful protests.<br \/>\n\u201cWe were holding protests for the supremacy of Constitution and survival of democracy in the country,\u201d she said in a video message. \u201cThere is my video evidence of instructing the party workers to remain calm and peaceful.<br \/>\nThe truth was the police infiltrated our protests and instigated violence to create chaos in the country.\u201d In Balochistan, PTI\u2019s Provincial Minister for Minerals Mubeen Khalji was also reportedly arrested from Quetta.<br \/>\nPolice also raided former KP minister Shahram Turkai\u2019s house in Swabi, but Shahram Turkai was not found at home. Earlier, many central leaders of PTI were arrested from Islamabad and Lahore.
