\nMayor Peshawar Zubair Ali Saturday said that Peshawar is the city of flowers and they cannot see this situation when violent protesters damage Peshawar\u2019s public, private institutions, and public and government properties.
\nThe way property and law enforcement institutions were damaged in Peshawar city, it can be the work of enemies of the country, which is quite an alarming and condemnable act. He said that miscreants also attacked the office of Mayor Peshawar, which was repulsed by the officials of the Capital Metropolitan Government. He paid tribute to the government officials for repulsing the attack of the miscreants.
\nThe CCTV cameras were disabled and the main gate of the Peshawar Mayor\u2019s office was damaged. The forces and the people sacrificed their lives and property, they could never see it burning, everyone cried because of the spread of this fire.
\nThey want to meet all this by putting it all together. What kind of humanity and what kind of enemy\u2019s agenda is it that even the ambulance was not spared, the patient was taken out of the ambulance and burned.
\nIt did not even happen in the war but the miscreants did that which is a condemnable act. What kind of protest was this, what kind of rights war was it, Mayor Peshawar questioned. He said that we as a nation have to block the path of this \u201cFitna\u201d with our positive thinking and action.
\nSuccess will be the destiny of this country and the nation, he added. This is the time to take into consideration the principles of nature and Shariah, he said, adding, \u201cAs a Pakistani citizen, and as a Muslim, we must protect these two aspects from being tarnished.\u201d
