\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has said democracy and people are in severe danger under the prevailing circumstances.
\nShah while chairing a review meeting on the current political situation here at the party\u2019s main office on Monday said the country has been plagued with political and economic crisis owing to incompetence of the present rulers.
\nNo one is paying heed to SOS calls given by people, he added.
\nFaiq criticized the politicians for promoting abusive language in politics and dismantling the democratic norms and culture in the country.
\nHe also slammed the discrediting the national institutions for saving own skin and political survival.
\nHe maintained everyone has been blindfolded in lust for power.
\nThe ATP chief said there was unseen any headway to defuse growing confrontation and tussle government and opposition.
\n\u201cWe should learn the lesson from the history, and need to sort out solution of all issues by table talks\u201d
\nThe party leader urged members of the legal fraternity, social society activists and impartial segments to come forward and play their due role to pave the way for negotiations between government and opposition.
\nHe said while keeping in view the prevailing scenario, protests and rallies aren\u2019t in the best interest of the country. Enemies would take full advantage of political instability in Pakistan, he added.
\nShah said Pakistan has earned a bad name in the rest of the world owing to the present situations.
\nHe warned increasing political uncertainty and lawlessness will further push the country\u2019s economy, businesses, and industry toward deterioration.
\nFaiq emphasized dialogue is essential to end the prevailing political uncertainty and chaos in the country.
