\n QUETTA
\nThe Sindh team has secured 1 silver and 4 bronze medals in the Fencing Event of the ongoing 34th National Games being held in Quetta.
\nOn the final day of the Women\u2019s Fencing Event, Sindh Fencing added 3 Bronze medals and 1 Silver medal bringing the team\u2019s total to One Silver and 5 Bronze Medals.
\n Individual medals were won by: Sehrish Karim (bronze – epee), Zainab Bukhari (2 bronze – foil and sabre), and Alishba Ehsen (silver-sabre).
\nTeam medals – 2 bronze in foil (SF – lost to Islamabad by 40-45) and in sabre (SF – lost to Punjab by 43-45.
\nThe Chef-de-Mission of Sindh Contingent Farhan Essa along with POA Media Advisor Asif Azeem and Secretary Sindh Olympic Association Ahmed Ali Rajput visited various venues to witness the ongoing competitions of hockey, volleyball, baseball, fencing, boxing, football and gymnastic. He congratulated the Sindh athletes on a good show and advised them to remain focused on the game, adhering to the game rules and discipline to win more medals for Sindh and add to the final tally in style.
\n\u201cThe commitment and zeal shown by Sindh athletes in the Games so far are encouraging and laudable, Farhan Essa said.
\nEarlier, in the Baseball event, Pak Army overcame KPK by 17 to 05 Runs difference in the 6th innings in the first match of Day-2 of the Baseball event.
\nFor the winners, Hussain, Asad Ali, Ali Hamza and Younas scored two runs each while Shehzad and Nazir scored one runs each. Faqeer scored 04 Runs and Waseem scored 03 Runs.
\nOn the other hand, the KPK Players scored two runs each Musa and Saeed Akhtar. (Saeed Akhtar Hit Home Run) while Awais also scored one run.
\nThe other match of the day-2 was played between Pak Wapda and Balochistan teams in which Pak Wapda comprehensively defeated Balochistan by 19 to 00 Runs, on Mercy Rule.
\nFor the winners, the scorers were 3 runs each by M. Waseem (M.Waseem hit Home Run), Noman, M. Zakir while 02 Runs each were scored by Sadam, Waqas, Umair, Fazal Ur Rehman. M. Sadiq and Jawad scored one run each.
\nHowever, Balochistan Players could not score any runs.
\nIn Gymnastics Competitions, Wapda is leading so far, followed by Army. The gymnastics competition took place at Buitems University Quetta and the Competition on two apparatus( Floor& Pommel ) have completed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
