\nInformation, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, emphasised that there can be no compromise on the issue of Kashmir.
\nSpeaking at the press conference at the Sindh Archives Complex, he reaffirmed the firm stance of the founding chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who stated that no mistakes can be tolerated when it comes to the matter of Kashmir. Memon highlighted that several significant countries have decided not to participate in the Kashmir conference.
\nHe attributed this outcome to the successful diplomacy of the government and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Memon criticised the former prime minister Imran Khan for his mistakes and incompetence regarding the Kashmir issue.
\nMemon emphasised that the treatment of Kashmiris of Modi\u2019s government towards Kashmiris is unprecedented and condemnable. He expressed his concerns about Khan\u2019s interviews with foreign media, stating that no former prime minister of Pakistan has made such hateful remarks about their own country as Khan does in his interviews.
\nThe minister stated that a true leader is someone who guides their nation along the right path. In contrast, Khan\u2019s consistent changes in stance and U-turns on various matters show a lack of leadership and integrity in his personality.
\nHe strongly condemned the act of defaming one\u2019s own country and institutions for the sake of personal interests and power. He criticised Khan for creating conspiracy theories and blaming external forces for his government\u2019s downfall, while giving contradictory statements in interviews.
\nMemon accused Khan of receiving funding from India and Israel, and of spreading chaos and division in the country with the help of Indian and Israeli lobbyists. He described Khan as a person who speaks lies and incites hatred among people.
