PM visited Radio Pakistan Peshawar on the occasion of Yaum-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan Thursday.
\nDG Radio Pakistan Peshawar gave briefing to PM with reference to May 09 and 10 incidents. <\/p>\n
PM while addressing the ceremony said ” I am much grieved over seeing the historical building of Radio Pakistan. This is the historical building wherein the voices of independence of Pakistan echoed on August 14, 1947 and the entire world was told Pakistan has come into existence. <\/p>\n
But unfortunately the heart wrenching incidents of May 09 and 10 grieved people of Pakistan, he said adding torching and destroying historical and national heritage is what type of wisdom and patriotism. No other act can be more anti state than this. <\/p>\n
He held Chaghi monument was located close to it which was burnt to ashes. This monument was masterpiece of Pakistan defence power. The archives were also burnt. <\/p>\n
The nations endear their identity and historical heritage but here they were reduced to ashes, he remarked.<\/p>\n
The enemy cannot cast evil eyes on Pakistan till the doomsday, he observed. The miscreants will be awarded punishment as per law and constitution. The job which could not be done by our arch enemy was done by our own persons as terrorists and enemy. <\/p>\n
The PM while announcing to pay the salaries to employees of Radio Pakistan said the salaries should be paid forthwith to employees. <\/p>\n
