\nChairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has said inherited and personality based politics has pushed the country back many years.
\nShah while talking to different delegations here at the party\u2019s main office on Tuesday asserted that a conglomerate of political parties should be formed to combat poverty, deprivations and unemployment in the country.
\n\u201cWe must learn from the history and should come forward with innovate ideas and strategy to tackle with challenges that have been confronting at internal and external fronts\u201d,
\nThe ATP chairman called for tapping indigenous resources to make Pakistan economically self-reliant.
\nHe said youth are the precious treasure of the country, so they should be lifted and provide them all facilities to play their due role in national progress.
\nThe country\u2019s future has been put at stake for the sake of survival in politics and personal interests, Shah observed.
\nHe maintained neighbouring countries have made rapid advancement in many important sectors while Pakistan is lagging behind in all sectors.
\nFaiq lamented that it is the dilemma of the whole nation that every ruler and elite have looted the national wealth with both hands but they didn\u2019t make legislation and work for welfare of poor masses.
\nHe said Pakistan can put on sustainable economic growth by utilizing rich natural resources.
\nHe praised heap on government modus measures amid a crippling economy.
\nHe, however, said austerity measures should be implemented to lower the burden on the national kitty.
\nThe party chief suggested that non-development expenditures should be cut down while it is a dire need of the hour that a proactive strategy should be adopted to improve the country\u2019s economy and restore trust of the local as well as foreign investors.
\nThe party leader asked the government to focus on trade, business, exports and other key-sectors in the upcoming fiscal budget.
\nHe noted that the growth rate remained below the projected target in the last several fiscal years.
